Why I made this
There's a lot to take in at a casino.
A table can move quickly. There are unfamiliar words, bets that look alike, and decisions you may have to make before you feel ready. You should be able to learn those things at your own pace, without feeling rushed.
I work in finance, and I've always loved math and all things tech. Casino games bring those interests together. I like figuring out why a bet pays what it does, how the odds work, and how to make the numbers understandable without making someone sit through a math class.
That curiosity led me to build Lucky Penny Gaming. I wanted more than a list of rules. I wanted you to be able to read an explanation, place a practice bet, see how it settles, and try again if something didn't make sense. It's the kind of place I would have wanted before walking up to a table for the first time.
Watching YouTube creators Bluff, Reggie, CZVegas, and Color Up was another part of the inspiration. Their content helped me see how approachable a game can feel when someone takes the time to explain it. My hope is to add an interactive place to learn alongside that kind of content, whether you're planning a first casino visit or returning to try a game you've always wondered about.

The name behind the site
Meet Penny and Lucky.
Penny is my dog. Lucky is my neighbor's dog. I love those dogs, and one day their names clicked together as Lucky Penny. It felt like the right name for something I was building with care, curiosity, and a little fun.
They're the reason for the name, not a promise of luck at the table. The point of the site is to help you understand a game well enough to enjoy learning it, whatever the next roll or spin brings.
